Creating Jobs & Spurring Growth

Creating jobs and encouraging new development are key to strengthening Akron. Sandra Kurt will work with and foster partnerships between government, businesses, and the community to promote growth, and fight for sensible investment of stimulus funds.

Making Government Work

Sandra has spent her career making things work better and saving time and money in the process. This is an important skill set to bring to government at any time, but it's even more crucial in these troubled economic times.

Advocating for us

An Akron resident for over 20 years, Sandra Kurt has worked tirelessly advocating for our community and will bring that same commitment to council. She is active in the Democratic Party, President and Founder of the Stonewall Democrats of Summit County, and a regular volunteer at the Battered Women's Shelter.
